![]() You're talking about a bear sized animal with enough strength to lift multiple body weights, fully body armor, and flight. I honestly just don't think the knight can hurt it enough to disable it before it just kind of. ![]() Mosquitoes aren't really equipped for close combat. It's an armored beetle, and if the knight makes it mad he's just going to get melted by high pressure acid. Knight is crushed to death in its jaws.īomb. I doubt the stinging matters much, but ants are just little armored tanks. ![]() Wasp gets the first hit due to flight and uses the deadly predator mandibles to rip through the knight armor like it's paper.įire Ant wins 10/10. Out-reaches the spear and just fucking chews through the light steel the knight is encased in. You basically just gotta go for that raw HP damage until they die. You can't just get a lucky head shot or spear the heart. Insects also don't have the same kind of centralized organ systems like us. You aren't easily penetrating this with a spear especially when weighed down by clunky armor. Imagine a material as tough as your finger nails but two inches thick. Honestly if we're ignoring the square cube law you have to look at their feats. Even so, I don't think he will be doing better than 4/10 on any round- insects just require too much damage to put down permenantly. The addition of a horse might help some of these rounds- it gives an extra punch to charging attacks, and the horse might work as a distraction for the insects to eat. I can see the mosquito being an 8 or 9/10 in favor of the knight. If he manages to damage a wing, he will have a massive advantage. The exception is the mosquito- he may be able to whittle away at it, as it comes close. Knight is (generously) a 1 or 2/10 for most of these. Conversely, most insects will remain unconcerned and continue to eat you even after a huge percentage of their body is gone. Hell, a black bear will run away most of the time if you make a loud noise near it. Don't forget how brutal insect life is- a bear will run away if you do enough damage. A knight vs something the size of a bear, but stronger and with pokemon powers. A knight vs a bear is a difficult, but winnable fight. The mosquito is the least capable of actually hurting a knight in full armor, but a lucky jab through the visor would be death or incapacitation, and they are exceptionally good at avoiding predators.īrave sir knight is fighting against opponents that are the size of a bear, but also considerably stronger. Even without all of that, its mandibles are on par with the ant's, and it as being of pure unfettered hatred for all living things. It may be capable of projecting acid, stinging, or (god help him if it is a parasitoidal) laying eggs on or inside him. It would twist and pin his limbs at an unnatural angle. The mantid would attack his joints, grappling him. The bombardier beetle would cook him alive before he even got into range with his spear. Said ant would be trucking along at about 30 miles per hour. ![]() The humble ant would be able to huck him across a parking lot, or crush that meaty goodness inside the armor. Does the Sir Knight have a horse? Otherwise, he's likely dead in most rounds. ![]()
